Stop Complaining! - by Patty Lennon

I know. I know. Complaining can be downright enjoyable when the Happy Juice isn't flowing freely. Complaining explains why our life isn't perfect. Complaining can get a cheap hit of attention.

But as T. Harv Eker, author of Secrets of a Millionaire Mind, once said complaining is like one big crap magnet! When you are complaining you are turning your attention to what you absolutely DO NOT WANT and bring it to you at lightening speed!

Stop it!!!!

There really isn't too much more than that.

Just stop complaining.

I'm not asking you to do this forever. Just try it on. Challenge yourself to go an hour, a day, a week without complaining. It can become more fun if you enlist a partner in crime to join you in this quest!

Ridding your daily diet of complaints is like any detox - it can feel a bit painful before you get to the great feeling of freedom.

Pay attention to the little miracles that pop up as you move into a complaint-free zone. Yes, you are going to have to give up the attention you get when you complain but the Happy Juice you get in return is well worth it!

By the way, I'm no saint - I still complain sometimes. I just try to stay conscious when it happens and balance the complaint with a big heaping shot of gratitude! I've been doing this long enough to see that the long term results of a complaint free diet are pretty nice!
