Quotes and health tip of the day... 7/19/13

You have your way. I have my way.
As for the right way, the correct way,
and the only way, it does not exist.
     ~ Friedrich Nietzsche

All things are subject to interpretation.
Whichever interpretation prevails
at a given time is a function
of power and not truth.

There are no eternal facts,
as there are no absolute truths.

The Astro Twins Announce a Grand Celestial Event!

Whether you're into astrology or not, you won't be able to resist the tremendous possibilities that this event heralds, and only the Astro Twins can deliver the explanation in such an amazing way! ENJOY!

"The Grand Sextile: Increase the Peace!
(July 29, 2013)

Mark your calendar for horoscope history: Monday, July 29 features an incredibly rare aspect known as a Grand Sextile. It’s essentially a six-pointed star, or hexagram, comprised of seven planets that form harmonious angles (trines and sextiles) to each other. This synergistic seven are all in “feminine” (earth or water) signs, emphasizing stability, gentleness, love and harmony. Many astrologers view this as the moment our culture will take a step toward embracing “feminine” principles. We could certainly stand to do that!

Picture a world that values cooperation over competition, goodness over greed, and where women and children are valued and treated as equal citizens. (We could hang out on this soapbox all day…ahhh.) It’s a long-overdue energetic rebalancing that our culture is crying out for, not to mention our environment. Perhaps that’s why astrologers have nicknamed this Grand Sextile “the saving grace.”

It’s rare enough to have even one trine, or “lucky triangle,” so experiencing two at once  is a real anomaly. One will be an earth trine involving the moon, Venus and Pluto. The other is a water trine that includes Mars, Jupiter, Saturn and Neptune. Hello, sweet alignment!

The Planetary Players
Every planet in this Grand Sextile has a job. Here’s what each one will be contributing to this cosmic kumbaya moment:

Moon—in Taurus
Being present and in the moment. Pleasure. Being in our bodies. Experiencing the sensual aspects of being human. Building.

Mars and Jupiter—in Cancer
Expanding our definition of home and family. We are all family. Looking out for each other. Expressing our passion and vision with heart.

Venus—in Virgo
Constructive criticism in the spirit of service. Helping each other become better people, and doing so with kindness. Creative problem-solving. We’re on the same team/we’re all in this together. Purifying our intentions.

Saturn—in Scorpio
Wise use of our emotional and financial resources; thoughtfully merging our energy with someone else’s so that everyone becomes stronger as a result

Pluto—in Capricorn
Transforming our approach to power, government, hierarchy. Becoming aware of the karma on earth everything that we build or put into tangible form. Expressing power consciously. Rethinking our power structures. Overturning dictators, oppressive rulership.

Neptune—in Pisces
Healing, compassion, people becoming open to Law of Attraction and oneness consciousness. Recognizing that we are spiritual beings having a human experience, and that our separateness is an illusion. As within, so without."

Be aware of your beliefs
and how they affect your life.
Do they leave you stagnant,
or do they help you progress?

Don't be afraid of your fears.
They're not there to scare you.
They're there to let you know
that something is worth it.
   ~ C. Joybell C.

you cease forever

Oh sweet diversity!

Body, emotion, mind, soul, higher self, Source … subjective, objective … yours, mine, ours. These are not the same though they make up a whole. The level of truth we perceive depends on our awareness, responsibility and comfort, hence the possibility we have for personal growth and advancement.  ~ Peter Shepherd

We cannot assume that the things, ideas, principles etc., that are obvious to us should be obvious to all. We come into this world with different missions. We come with different talents, learning styles, personalities, advantages, and limitations.

Our experiences and the varied ways in which we interpret experiences form our beliefs and truths. We live in completely different worlds though we may be standing right next to each other. The best we can do is enjoy the diversity, the possibilities, and potential.

No matter the perspective, truth, or beliefs of another, there is always something of benefit from each person's point of view. Remain confident and fexible in the place that you stand and be willing to share your own perspective with others should you be asked to.

It's an inside job :)

As far as I can tell, worrying about anything at all is a pretty good indicator that one has begun thinking that their joy and prosperity will somehow hinge on pending physical events, other people, or angry green Martians.

Can you imagine?!

Phone home,
    The Universe

First, joy and prosperity are created within. Second, the events and people of your life can be changed with your thoughts. And third, for the most part, Martians are neither green nor angry.
~ Mike Dooley
