To play or not to play...

First we decide to participate 
in this experience unconsciously.
Then we begin to discover

Feelings and emotions are the privilege of this world. For some, feeling alive is felt by a barely detectable event, for others, they have to risk life and limb in order to feel alive. The ability to feel is a huge experience of life and no feeling should be negated nor the way we get there.

There is no emotion that is better or worse than another, but if we are not connected to our source then some emotions will keep us stuck in pain. Riding the sea of events, and the emotions they cause, can be as easy as floating down a river if we can brave the space in between. 

The space in between is a bridge between the place where emotions can hurt us, sometimes endlessly, and experiencing the same emotions with observation instead. It is the stepping aside of thought and simply being. Unfortunately, at first, the bridge has no emotion. It feels like nothing, and we humans do not like to feel nothing, but if we can brave that nothingness for a short time we arrive at the magical, mystical, optimal experience.

I believe that all experience has a purpose and staying stuck in pain is an experience, but it's always nice to know that there is a way out.

Health Tip: For athlete's foot, reach for tea tree oil, an extract of the leaves of an Australian tree. It appears to have antiseptic properties and may work as well as or better than over-the-counter antifungal products.
