HEALTH TIP:  Avocados are often rock-hard when you go to purchase them at grocery stores. They can be easily ripened at home, however, by sticking them in a brown paper bag with an apple. Apples release ethylene gas, a naturally occurring plant hormone that will help soften your avocados in a few days. ~ Natural Society

In my last post.... Joanne Guimond ~ 5/27/38 - 9/24/13, the following was included:

"We shared a common fussiness about the weather. We like perfect days. When she would answer the phone, it was one of the first things we would agree upon; too cold, too humid, too hot, then on the rare occasion 'Isn't it beautiful out Ang?' "

Well, today, the day of her Funeral, it was indeed what we would agree was the "the perfect day". "Isn't it beautiful out Jo?"
