Silver Lining!

Adventure #2 was a successful bust! The Lamprey River Forest is blocked off and not accessible from the trail head. #Bust – We accidentally drove into the Epping school complex while looking for the forest, so we went back there to walk instead. It is surrounded by woods, lovely grounds, and fields. One walk around the complex took us a ½ hour and the pup enjoyed it even more than Stratham Hill this afternoon. #Success - A drive down Academy Lane was stunning also, and the elevation in that area made for a spectacular photo shoot of the sunset. #SilverLining

Another First!

Once again, this handsome guy and I are on our own today. It's a weekend of “firsts”. Our first adventure was Stratham Hill. The top of the hill has a beautiful fire tower on a beautiful, well kept field. There were wild, black raspberries growing around the entire perimeter of the field. Lucky for me, they were ripe! There are 6 miles of trails. We're going to need one more adventure today. Let's see what I can dig up ;)

All dressed up with no place to go!

The puppy and I were on our own last night. You know you need to get out when you start taking funky fotos on snapchat. It was Friday night and we are young and wild ;) We headed to a “never been before” trail, the Ghost Trail in Salisbury, MA. The Salisbury Point Ghost Trail is named for the "Ghost" trains that transported early automobile bodies (covered with white canvas shrouds) from Fisher Body in Amesbury through Salisbury to Detroit along the old Boston & Maine rail bed. We got to see a killer sunset on the way home also.

Quotes of the day... 8/3/15

“There will be a few times in your life
when all your instincts will tell you
to do something, something that defies logic,
upsets your plans, and may seem crazy to others.
When that happens, you do it.
Listen to your instincts and ignore everything else.
Ignore logic, ignore the odds,
ignore the complications, and just go for it.”
     ~ Judith McNaught

“‎People who talk less frequently notice more.”

Heal the world one child at a time ♥

"Relative to our children, or any children with whom we would interact, our one dominant intention would be to give them a conscious understanding of how powerful, important, valuable, and perfect they are. Every word that would come out of our mouths would be a word that would be offered with the desire to help them know that they are powerful. It would be a word of empowerment."
     ~ Esther Hicks

This is where world peace begins, with the self image, respect, and esteem of our children. It takes more than a village, it takes a world. We all influence children with every thought, word, action, and reaction.

Quotes of the day... 8/1/16

“The simple everyday experiences become
the doorway to new thoughts and inspirations.”
     ~ E.A. Bucchianeri

“Imagination is not only
the uniquely human capacity
to envision that which is not, and, therefore,
the foundation of all invention and innovation.
In its arguably most transformative
and revelatory capacity, it is the power
that enables us to empathize with humans
whose experiences we have never shared.”
     ~ J.K. Rowling
