Morning Quotes 10/17/17

“Maybe the truth is, there's a little bit
of loser in all of us. Being happy isn't
having everything in your life be perfect.
Maybe it's about stringing together all the little things.”
     ~ Ann Brashares

“Live the full life of the mind,
exhilarated by new ideas, intoxicated
by the romance of the unusual.”

Morning Quotes 10/16/17

There is no worse screen to
block out inspiration, intuition,
and guidance than confidence
in our own intelligence.

Let me introduce you to the SUPER HERB, COMFREY!

I have placed  a link at the end of this paragraph, because after you read the two articles I have linked below, you will most definitely be ordering the tea, so I am putting the amazon link here, so you can order :) Some of you will most likely be growing it as well.   Comfrey Leaf Tea

Article One - Move over superman. Can the herb, Comfrey save the world? (Try not to let the few, poor, areas of grammar in this article dissuade you from it's important message.)

Article Two - Chemical Constituents of Comfrey  - This was written by the master herbalist whose advise has helped to cure numerous health issues in my family.

“We are the facilitators of our own creative evolution.“ ~ Bill Hicks

Everything that happens was first imagined. Our imaginations are powerful creators. Our thoughts are not private. They project on the world.

Science has determined that the world is a projection of our minds and each of us live in our own individual worlds. We project our beliefs on the world and it returns to us our experience.

When we allow what we see to create our beliefs, we thrive in good times, but suffer in bad times. If we focus on the bad our imaginations run wild with bad things, our belief system creates expectations of bad, and the world responds. If we focus on the good, and discipline our imaginations to envision good experiences, our belief system creates expectations of good and the world responds.

Morning Quotes... 10/13/17

When we are put in charge
we are not given a crown,
we are given the responsibility
to bring out the best in others.
      ~adapted, Jack Welch

“Look, winning and losing can’t be quantified.
They are states of mind, and losing
happens only when you give up.
Seen that way, then, the world can be filled
with winners, and there is room for them all.”
     ~ Jack Welch

Morning Quotes 10/13/17

“So I should be aware of the dangers
of self-consciousness, but at the same time,
I’ll be plowing through the fog of all these echoes,
plowing through mixed metaphors, noise,
and will try to show the core, which is still there,
as a core, and is valid, despite the fog.
The core is the core is the core.
There is always the core,
that can’t be articulated.
Only caricatured.”
     ~ Dave Eggers

We must trust, and we must have faith.
And so we build, because what is building,
and rebuilding and rebuilding again,
but an act of faith?”
     ~adapted, Dave Eggers

Morning Quotes 10/11/17

“And there is a chance that
everything we did was incorrect,
but stasis is itself criminal for those
with the means to move, and the means
to weave communion between people.”
     ~ Dave Eggers

“We have advantages.
We have a cushion to fall back on.
This is abundance. A luxury of place and time.
Something rare and wonderful.
It's almost historically unprecedented.
We must do extraordinary things.
We have to. It would be absurd not to.”
     ~ Dave Eggers

Morning Quotes 10/9/17

“If something we want is slow to come to us,
it can be for only one reason: we are spending
more time focused upon its absence
than we are about its presence.”

“We are actually pre-paving our
future experiences constantly.
We are continually projecting
our expectations into

Be driven by solutions!

"We would like you to reach the place where you’re not willing to listen to people criticize one another… where you take no satisfaction from somebody being wrong… where it matters to you so much that you feel good, that you are only willing to think positive things about people…you are only willing to look for positive aspects; you are only willing to look for solutions, and you are not willing to beat the drum of all of the problems of the world." ~ Esther Hicks

Post trails picture!

It was an Elizabeth, Daisy, Mayhem, and myself day. I don't usually disclose our adventure spots anymore because all goes better without a lot of people, but from the perspective of a picture enthusiast, I doubt we'll go back to the Amesbury Town Forest. It wasn't bad, but not noteworthy either. We did have a few laughs over the quirky trail signs. Example: Hopping Bunny Glade ;) Then I looked up the actual meaning of "glade", and it made sense :)

be good for something.”

Morning Quotes 10/5/17

“We are not enemies, but friends.
We must not be enemies.
Though passion may have strained,
it must not break our bonds of affection.
The mystic chords of memory
will swell when again touched,
as surely they will be,
by the better angels of our nature.”
     ~ Abraham Lincoln

One day soon, we will wake up

Such a thing is an impossibility.

a drama, a comedy, and a tragedy.”
     ~ Mark Twain

“In the land where excellence is

where weakness is aided, not mocked,
there is no question as to how
its inhabitants are all superhuman.”

When Tragedy Strikes

Re-posted from Friday, July 20, 2012

When tragedy strikes... ~ Angie Ducharme

It is easy to forget that our thoughts are not private. Thoughts are energy, an energy that attracts like energy. When we are all thinking judgmental thoughts and the like energy of those thoughts are all banding together, the intensity of that energy reaches critical mass.

Each one of us contribute to the collective mind; negatively when we have any level of ill feelings towards another human being and positively when we choose to observe the best in another human being. We are all responsible in every encounter we make. Massive tragedy is always a tipping point within the collective mind.

The remedy:
When we catch ourselves passing judgment, on any level – and we all do it – make a conscious effort to reverse it by appreciating something instead. Eventually, with practice we can change our unconscious habit of passing judgment.

Those around you will know that you are for peace,
not just through good intentions
but by the way you conduct your life on a daily basis.
~Deepak Chopra~

"We're always on our way somewhere..." ~ Esther Hicks

... and we'd like it to be where we currently would like it to be. The key to be continually arriving at the desired, new destination is to appreciate what there is to appreciate where we currently are while being happily engaged in the process of getting to the new destination.

"...that’s the difference between making the best of something and making the worst of something." ~ Esther Hicks

Also, it's a good idea to keep in mind we don't have all the information and do not know whether our desired destination would truly make us happy. It's best to keep our minds open, flexible, and aware of clues and signs, prepared to take another path.

~ Angie Ducharme

utterly unprecedented you are.”

9 Habits to Help Us Manifest Our Dreams Using the LOA ~ Sonia Lopez Simpson, via Elephant Journal

"My first brush with the Law of Attraction came to me at the ripe young age of 11.

Our family had just moved to this country, we had been here a year and our savings had run out. I wanted a bike so bad but naturally, it was not a financial priority for my parents to get me one. I dreamed of having a bike every day. It was more about the freedom to play, have fun and ride around with the wind blowing through my hair than the actual bike itself. Ahhh… I would close my eyes and fantasize that I was riding a bike until it “felt” like I was.

Then one day, when I arrived home from school, I noticed a green bike at the entrance of our building and internally declared, “That bike is for me!”.Sure enough, when I went upstairs my Mom said she had a surprise for me and brought me back downstairs to present me with my new bike, which they found at an affordable price at a garage sale. It was the best gift ever. And I felt I had manifested magic!

Maybe you’re rolling your eyes at this article right about now—I get it—but stay with me, please.I too used to roll my eyes and think that the Law of Attraction (LOA) was some woo-woo new age hype and while I subscribed to the idea of it, it wasn’t until I became a Core Energy Coach that I began to understand how the power of our thoughts can help us leverage on manifesting our dreams.

Energy: Thoughts = Emotions = Actions

We are powerful manifesting machines, but since we have 50 to 70 thousand unconscious thoughts per day, of which about 80 percent are negative, we’re not always manifesting wonders.

Working with LOA to manifest your dreams

While it’s true that the first step to LOA is shifting to more positive ways of thinking, the reason people give up working with LOA is that they believe that if they start thinking positive thoughts, then all their dreams will manifest.

No, no, no!

LOA is not a magic wand. Because our brain preferentially scans and stores negative experiences, we have to consciously, habitually build the positive mental muscle. LOA is great tool to use when manifesting and can work magically, but we all have layers and layers of stories, limiting beliefs, fears and blocks that have become the interior landscape of our minds and cannot be changed overnight just by thinking positive thoughts.

In order to become a master at manifesting with LOA, we have to undo the patterns that have been stored in our unconscious and replace them with positive, empowering patterns. In other words: rewire the brain.

It may sound complicated, but it’s not.

By implementing daily positive practices in our lives we will shift and raise our energetic vibration so that we can manifest from a place of calm, inspired action yielding faster results.

Simply stated, if you get into the habit of using tools that will insert empowering and positive thoughts into your mind, you’ll be poised to produce good experiences and results!

Here are nine habits you can implement in your daily life right now to start activating LOA manifesting energy:

1. Practice mindfulness

Start by paying attention to what you focus on. Are you a “what’s wrong thinking” or “what’s right thinking” kind of person? When you’re working on manifesting your dreams, obstacles and challenges will arise, but when you operate from “what’s right thinking” you become an incredible problem solver which builds confidence and quickly raises your energetic vibration. You will move through obstacles quicker.

2. Keep a worry list

Since the brain is Velcro for negative experiences, it is natural that we worry so much. It’s just the brain’s tendency. Keep a worry list for two weeks. The minute you start to worry, write it down. This not only helps release the heavy energy that often keeps us stuck, but at the end of two weeks you will notice none of the worries were warranted. Your brain will have proof that worry is a waste of energy.

3. Breathe

Don’t just breathe, practice diaphragmatic  breathing. Breathe from the belly not the chest. This type of breathing activates our para-sympathetic nervous system (rest-and-digest) which helps produce a sense of relaxation and contentment, and allows us to be calm and clear when taking inspired action.

4. Meditate

Meditation quiets the monkey mind, which is naturally biased toward negativity. Meditating does not mean we stop ourselves from having thoughts. It simply means the grip around our thoughts softens. Meditation helps us withdraw attention from stressful, negative patterns we’ve created over time.

5. Move your body

Negative emotions get stored in our bodies on a cellular level. Moving our bodies is one way to release stress and negative energy. It doesn’t have to be intense; you can dance, practice yoga or go for a walk.

6. Keep a gratitude journal

Gratitude is one of the simplest ways to raise our vibration. When we recognize our great fortune and appreciate all our blessings, it automatically puts us in “feel good” energetic vibration.

7. Write down your goals and connect to your “Why?”

Writing your goals (in the present tense) will not only help you get clear, but it will help you create inspired action steps toward your dreams. Connecting to our “why?” means connecting to the feeling that achieving the goal will give us. For me, it wasn’t about the bike but about the fun and freedom that the bike would allow me to have. When we connect to the “feeling,” we raise our vibration and become magnets for attracting the people, circumstances, etc. that will help us achieve our goal.

8. Visualize

Read your written goals first thing in the morning and before going to bed at night. Then, take five minutes to visualize and connect with the feeling of achieving your dreams. Get it into your subconscious.

9. Feel it

Feel like you already have what you want. Be like a kid, who allows no impossibility to enter her manifesting realm; “feeling” helps us release any doubt and negative energy. It generates excitement and positive feelings, which support us to take inspired action. So go, test-drive that car you want, feel what it will be like to have the perfect partner in your life, because feeling is believing!

Whether you subscribe to what some call “airy fairy-ness” LOA or not, implementing these habits can only make you feel better, improve your mood and your brain waves, so why not give it a shot?"

You were given eyes to see with,

Morning Quote 8/8/17

“The moon does not fight.
It attacks no one.
It does not worry.
It does not try to crush others.
It keeps to its course,
but by its very nature,
it gently influences.
What other body could pull
an entire ocean
from shore to shore?
The moon is faithful to its nature
and its power is never diminished.”
     ~ Ming-Dao Deng
