Open to the field of creativity, inspiration, intuition, and knowledge...

"... once you divest yourself of references to other people in the competitive sense, you naturally find yourself in the purely creative realm instead, the context in which your... dreams are concocted and implemented."

Quotes of the day... 2/17/17 (magical numbers)

“Chaos often breeds life,
when order breeds habit.”
     ~ Henry Adams

“Best philosophy in life is to
keep a happy mind.
We don’t know whether success
gives happiness or not,
but a happy mind can
always lead to success.”

Quotes of the day... 2/16/17

"Meditation is not just a rest
or retreat from the turmoil
or the impurity of the world.
It is a way of being the stream,
so that one can be at home in
both the white water and the eddies.
Meditation may take one out of the world,
but it also puts one totally into it.”
     ~ Gary Snyder

“The same stream of life that runs
through my veins night and day
runs through the world
and dances in rhythmic measures.
It is the same life that shoots in joy
through the dust of the earth
in numberless blades of grass
and breaks into tumultuous waves
of leaves and flowers.”
     ~ Rabindranath Tagore

Quotes of the day... 2/15/17

Another world is not only possible,
it is on the way. On a quiet day,
you can hear it breathing.
     ~adapted,  Arundhati Roy

“Real generosity towards the future
lies in giving all to the present.”
     ~ Albert Camus

Quotes of the day... 2/14/17

“Each day I am thankful
for nights that turned into mornings,
friends that turned into family,
dreams that turned into reality
and likes that turned into loves.”

Eternally Evolving

You can be fully satisfied with where you are,
understanding that you're eternally evolving.
When you get into that place of feeling appreciation
of where you are and of who you are,
and appreciation of what you are,
and you accept that you are a never-ending,
always unfolding Being, then you can stand
in that delicate balance of being optimistic
about what is to come, without being unhappy
about where you stand.
Find a way of eagerly anticipating future changes,
while at the same time you are in love and satisfied
with who, what, where and how you be.

Grammys 2017

Thanks to Monday Snow Day, I got to stay up and watch The Grammys last night! It was AWESOME!! The Grammys are always great, but last night was spectacular! I loved every performance, but these were my favorites!

Kelsea Ballerini and Lukas Graham performed a brilliant, creative mashup of "Peter Pan" and "7 Years"!!

Bruno NEVER FAILS, and last night was no exception! He gave a stunning finish to "That's How I Like It" to a standing ovation! He also closed out the Prince tribute like no one else ever could ♥ with a performance of "Let's Go Crazy", to another, resounding standing ovation.

Lady Gaga proving, yet again, that she truly can do ANYTHING, performed "Moth Into The Flame" with Metallica! No surprise, she looked and sang every bit the part!!

Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban gave an energetic, connected performance of "The Fighter". I was totally pulled in by their chemistry on stage.

Host, James Corden, led a super fun Cardboard Karaoke to "Sweet Caroline" joined by none other than Neil Diamond himself. Other performers included Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, John Legend, Jennifer Lopez, Ryan Tedder, and Jason Derulo. SUPER FUN GROUP! They were fantastic!

If you didn't get to watch it last night, I highly recommend watching the rerun!!
